Send Coffee MEOW!

It's Monday morning and I'm struggling to get the day started. There is much to do and it feels like there isn't enough time to do it. Never mind the fact that I haven't had even a drop of coffee yet. Not one DROP!

This little zombie cat took it all and won't share ... not even with the flies.

I hope your day is going great and you get everything done that you want to get done ... and I hope you get all the coffee you need.

If you think your week has been hard, imagine the life of the zombie cat. Okay okay ... not life ... unlife ... existence maybe? Let's start over.

You think you're having it rough? Imagine the day to day existence of a zombie cat. (Still doesn't sound right but whatever ... moving on)

All day, every day, zombie cats have this never ending desire to sink your teeth in to the soft warm flesh of a human. The unquenchable desire to drink their blood and a burning hatred towards all of humanity.

Actually sounds like cats in general ... hmmm. Did I have a point here? I thought so when I started ... I got derailed by this freaking cute cat hanging from the tree like some putrid pussycat pinata.

I'm going to go find me a stixk :)

This zombie cat isn't speaking to me anymore ... doesn't even want to look at me. It's not my fault the tail is gone ... I've warned them all to be more careful when I wear my ice skates inside.

I tried to glue it back on ... maybe I should use a staple gun.

Big Black Zombie Cat on a Little Garbage Can

This Zombie Cat has been sitting on that garbage can for 3 days already ... just waiting for something to move so it can chase. I would think it was dead if it wasn't already undead.

INKtober 2 - it got dark in a hurry

This image started off strong and then took a wrong turn. You can see the first half of it's creation over on the zombie cats patreon page here.
After a coffee break and lunch I went back to it and attacked it with the big black sharpie ... check it here ... the image above is the end result. I think I did a pretty good job of pulling it back from the brink of failure.

INKtober 2017 zombie cat

I am not going to name these zombie cats ... this is 01 of 31 to me ... but if you want to adopt him and give him a forever home, you also get to name him. His name will be included in an adoption form letter you get along with the original 9"x12" ink on paper drawing. There are a couple of other drawings on the other side of the paper, so it's like a little added bonus. Other items will be included in the parcel when it gets mailed, and there are a lot of little items being made right now, so you never know what you'll get. it's IT ...

what is IT ?

Inspired by the newest version of pennywise that hits the screen today, I started to draw a sphynx cat and somehow the clown began to emerge. I went and added some color to the black and white drawing, as well as the text. If you want to see what the original unaltered image looks like, check the store here: it's for sale at the moment.

I have started to do a lot of drawing whenever I have a moment away from the family and no other pressing responsibilities or work. I am finding that even with just a few minutes here and there some great artwork is being created and I'm learning and growing as an artist more and more. That means you get to see more zombie cats more often ... so it's a win all around.

I currently have a dozen + zombie cat drawings that haven't been seen yet ... they'll be posted soon along with a colouring book. If you want to stay ahead of the game and find out what I'm working on before it's released, check my patreon feed. I post a lot of public images there as well as patron only posts with items like free high res downloads and pdf's of my upcoming books and images. 

Here's an example of something that would be posted on patreon ... it's the start of 2 kittens and a skull. 

In patreon I might post progress shots or even a video of me drawing it. Eventually most things posted on patreon will become public, it's just cool to see things before anyone else. To add a bit more excitement, I'm going to start getting more audience participation with my posts on patreon.

Even if you don't donate as little as a buck a month to the zombie cat cause, you should still check out the patreon page from time to time. You never know what kind of goodies might be waiting for you.
